BOC Kenya Plc (BOC) is a leading supplier of industrial, medical and special gases in East Africa. In 1947 the company started operations in Nairobi and later years, in Kisumu, Kampala, Mwanza and Dar-es-Salaam. The Company listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange in 1969.

The BOC organization was established in Britain in 1886 and has been producing industrial gases for more than 120 years. The organization is member of The Linde Group, a world leading gases and engineering company with approximately 64,500 employees working in more than 100 countries worldwide. The Company’s immediate majority shareholder is BOC Holdings UK, which became a member of the Linde Group in 2002.
